Open-concept kitchen with granite countertops, soft-close cabinetry, and stainless appliances. The island seats four, complementing the dining area for 12. All your cooking needs are met, from scratch to microwave convenience.
The King master suite features a log bed with a memory foam mattress, and a spacious private bath with a separate shower, jetted tub, and heated floors in winter. Admire the unique reclaimed wood vanity and rustic barn door.
✦ Upper level: Enjoy the loft area with mountain views, a pool table made from tree trunks, and a cozy pub table. The king bedroom offers rustic charm with a live-edge cypress headboard, moonshine jar lights, and a barn-style closet door. Another bedroom features a queen bed, a memory foam mattress, and a twin daybed.
The upper floor bathroom features a walk-in shower, reclaimed wood double vanity, and heated floors in winter.
✦ Lower level: Relax in the family/media room with a 70" UHD TV, arcade, Foosball table, and gas log fireplace. A convenient kitchenette includes a full-size refrigerator, sink, and microwave. There is also a queen bedroom and a bunk room with twin-over-twin log bunk beds. The spacious bathroom offers a double vanity, tub, and heated floors in winter.
✦ Outdoor spaces: Enjoy the side yard for playtime, gather by the stone fire pit, or relax in the 6-person hot tub. Cookouts are made easy with a charcoal grill and picnic tables on the patio.

★ IMPORTANT INFORMATION
► Mountain Location: This is a mountain property. Guests should expect to drive on mountain roads. A 4WD or AWD vehicle and/or tire chains may be required during the winter months in case of snow or ice.
► Child Safety: The house is child-friendly but not child-proof. The property is not fenced, so children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times when outdoors.
► Housekeeping: Daily cleaning services are not provided. Guests will receive towels, linens, and a starter supply of soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags.
► Wilderness Environment: The property is located in a wooded, largely wild area. Despite regular pest control, encounters with insects, arachnids, or other wildlife (inside or outside) are possible. Keep doors closed at all times, do not leave food in vehicles, and never leave food, leftovers, or trash outside. All garbage must be bagged and secured in the provided bear-resistant containers.
► Wildlife: Sightings of bears, deer, reptiles, birds, raccoons, insects, and arachnids are common and do not warrant cancellations or refunds. Feeding wildlife is strictly prohibited.
► Protect Your Travel Expense: Refunds will not be issued for weather events, fear of driving on mountain roads, changes in plans, or personal circumstances. Consider purchasing appropriate travel insurance.
► Third-Party Amenities: Services such as electricity, water, TV, and internet are beyond our control. In the event of service interruptions, guests agree they are not entitled to compensation or refunds.
► Wi-Fi: Complimentary fiber optic Wi-Fi is provided for your convenience. Login details are available inside the house or via email. While generally reliable, occasional service interruptions may occur due to the property's rural mountain location. The Owners cannot guarantee continuous Wi-Fi access or speed, and disruptions do not qualify for a refund.
► Booking Platforms: This property is listed on multiple online platforms, each with its own policies. The Rental Agreement’s terms take precedence over any conflicting policies on booking sites.
► Rates and Discounts: Rates may vary across platforms and are subject to change. Sales, discounts, or specials (if available) apply only to new reservations.
► Property Rules: No indoor smoking/vaping or pets are allowed. Occupancy must not exceed 16 total guests, with no more than 12 adults.
► Damage Deposit: A $700.00 damage deposit is required, reserved 2 days before arrival and released no later than 5 days after departure, pending a satisfactory post-departure inspection.
► Reservation Requirements: Guests must be at least 25 years old to book. A signed Rental Agreement and valid photo ID must be provided to the hosts within 48 hours of booking, or the reservation may be canceled for non-compliance.
► Long Stays: Stays longer than 8 nights may require interim cleaning with an associated fee.
► Arrival Information: Arrival instructions will be emailed 3 days before check-in. Access instructions will be emailed and texted 2 days before check-in.
► Guest Responsibilities: Guests must inspect the house within 1 hour of check-in and report any issues to the Owners. Unreported issues may be deemed the guest’s responsibility. All concerns or complaints must be submitted in writing (via text or email) before departure, allowing the Owners reasonable time to address and document them.
Rates & Availability
Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
The Rental Agreement for this property takes precedence over any policies, terms, and conditions listed on various online booking platforms. Rates are subject to change and sales/discounts do not apply to existing reservations. You will see credit card transactions on your statement from 'Blue Mountain Vacation Cabins'.About the Owner
We are a couple who loves being "away from it all", the mountains, and the nature of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina. We are avid DIYers, and our cabin is our passion. You will be dealing directly with us, the owners! We know the area, we know our cabins, we love staying in them, and, admittedly, a little proud of them too.
