  • Season-appropriate, comfortable, non-slippery, and stable footwear.
  • Make sure your vehicle has sufficient tread on the tires.
  • Make sure to change the windshield wipers before your trip.

  • Mosquito repellent (there aren't many mosquitoes, but they do appear occasionally).

Traveling with babies/infants

  • Our cabins have a high chair.
  • Due to insurance limitations, we cannot provide pack-n-plays, gates, and other baby/infant gear.
  • You can bring your own, or rent the needed equipment and have it delivered and set up by a specialized company

What we do not provide

  • Anything not specifically mentioned here or in your copy of the Rental Agreement.
  • We do not provide towing, snow plowing, or snow removal.
  • No refunds will be given due to weather conditions, late arrivals, early departures, guests’ fear of driving in the mountains, or power outages.
  • We suggest purchasing Travel Insurance through the site or an independent provider at the time of booking for added peace of mind.
  • When it snows, housekeeping/maintenance may not be able to get to the cabin to do anything about the snow – please plan accordingly. In most cases, the snow melts within a few hours to a couple of days.
